Sound is our language

My journey into music and sound began at an elementary arts school, where I completed both levels of piano studies. During that time, I frequently accompanied musicians playing other instruments, which allowed me to explore music from different perspectives.\n\nAfter completing my music education, I decided to pursue a career that would allow me to remain connected to music and sound. I went on to study Music and Sound Design at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, where I met Patrik, my future colleague and co-founder of PADA Studio.\n\nAfter graduating, I began my professional career in dubbing and film sound at Dimas Studio. Working as a sound engineer and dubbing director, I gained experience across a wide range of productions, including opportunities to contribute to Slovak film and audiovisual projects.\n\nWhat I value most about this profession is the opportunity to help others develop, refine, and bring their creative visions to life.

Music has been a part of my life since childhood. I completed the second level of accordion studies at the elementary arts school in Fiľakovo. During secondary school, I also learned the fundamentals of piano and recorder.\n\nAfter finishing secondary school, I continued my education at Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, studying Music and Sound Design, and graduated with a bachelor's degree.\n\nFollowing university, I joined Dimas dubbing studio, initially working as a sound engineer before moving into dubbing direction. During my time there, I had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of productions, ranging from dubbing animated series and theatrical feature films to creating Foley effects for film.\n\nWhat I enjoy most about working as a sound engineer and dubbing director is collaborating with new people and constantly facing fresh creative and technical challenges. I particularly enjoy finding original solutions, such as designing unique sound effects that help shape the atmosphere and character of a production.
